About the Hymns
The Church of Common Sense keeps a public hymnal and a set of training canticles.
General Hymns (Public Canon)
These hymns are public and meant for everyone. They are reflections on decency, restraint, truth, and human behavior - written for a complicated world.
Ambassador Canticles (CAP)
Some hymns are part of the Ambassador formation program. These are training canticles used to teach and reinforce higher standards for people who represent the project publicly and steward community spaces.
They are not secret. They are tied to a training path that includes accountability, review, and renewal - because representation carries weight.
Why separate categories?
Different roles carry different responsibilities. A public hymnal should remain stable and universally accessible. Training materials are organized, versioned, and scoped so they do not collide with the public canon or confuse references over time.
Canon and versioning
Once a hymn is published, its identifier is treated as stable. New additions are appended, and the canon is versioned so changes are transparent and auditable.
